There are plenty of movies out there which portray the modern economy in inspirational light, but there also remains pockets of influence within many poorer countries which are constantly being exploited in the name of greed, leaving little for those left in its devastation.  

Very few movies can capture the deeper meaning in this than "Blood Diamond," as it deciphers the violence hidden among the endless war for minerals with mining groups seeking to chase the never-ending dream of profit.

It's not often we post up video clips of movies, but we at Psyche Life feel these three videos posted below paint a devastating picture of the price which is paid to keep profits in the hands of the companies which allow these horrible acts of violence to continue in the poorest of countries.  

While all three clips are amazing insights, the third one displays the desperation hidden behind many of these storied characters which continue to traverse these exploited lands today.
